This is a sad and solemn day

As we bow our heads to pray

The angels came and took him home

No longer on this earth to roam

God needed him close to him to touch him with his love

He was brought to heaven by the angels above

He’s on our minds and in our heart

Even though he had to depart

He leaves behind a legacy of love

A gift he gives from up above

He looks down upon the ones he left here below

All his friends and family loving him so

So we smile when we think of him there

Up in heaven with Gods loving care

He touched our hearts with his presence from up above

Now he knows Gods sweet love

We will miss our dear sweet friend

All our love to him we do send

On day we will meet him at the gate

Geno our dear friend there for us will wait

So as we bow our heads in prayer

We know one day we will meet him there!
